Promotional Activities for Prospective Learners
1) The University Promotes Its Programmes For Prospective Learners Through Various Activities. Admission Advertisements Were Published In All Leading Newspapers Of The State, And The University Website Was Extensively Used For Admission Promotions. Massive Publicity Was Done Through Social Media Platforms Like YouTube, Facebook, And WhatsApp, Along With The University’s Community Radio. The University Headquarters, Regional Centres, And Study Centres Organised Admission Awareness Programmes Across The State. University Officials And Teachers Collaborated With Study Centres To Conduct Awareness Campaigns In Strategic Locations. Admission Promotion Drives Were Also Conducted Among Police Personnel.
The University Established Three New Regional Centres In Bongaigaon, Silchar, And North Lakhimpur In Addition To Jorhat Regional Centre And Appointed Regional Directors To Monitor And Support The Study Centres In Admission Promotion. Additionally, 40 New Study Centres Were Set Up In Remote Areas Of Assam From July 2023 To June 2024 To Enhance Inclusivity And Opportunities In Higher Education. Online Pre-admission Counselling Was Provided To Prospective Learners On A Continuous Basis During The Admission Process.
