Course Details

The One-year PG Diploma in Translation and Interpretation of Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) has been offered in accordance with the broad guidelines of the NEP 2020, besides with constant adherence to UGC Distance and Online Education Regulation 2020, UGC LOCF Curricular Framework, Academic Integrity Regulations 2018 and UGCdefinitions-of-Degrees-July-2014.

This programme aims to develop learners’ linguistic competence, intercultural understanding and professional skills required for effective translation and interpretation across diverse domains. The PG Diploma in Translation and Interpretation is designed to enhance written and oral communication skills, accuracy, clarity, and ethical awareness, while addressing the growing demand for trained language professionals in administration, media, education, publishing, and other knowledge sectors.
