Dr. Indrani Kalita CV   

Dr. Indrani kalita is serving as an Assistant Professor in Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University, Guwahati, Assam since January 1, 2015. She also served as an Academic Consultant in KKHSOU from March 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014. Prior to joining KKHSOU, she served as a Lecturer in Anita Baruah Sarmah College of Education and Lecturer in R. J Degree College. She was awarded the Ph.D. Degree by Gauhati University in 2019 for the thesis entitled “A Study on Learning Difficulties in Mathematics Among the Students of Upper Primary Government Schools of Kamrup Metro Area of Assam. She authored four books for B.Ed. Course under Gauhati University and Bodoland University entitled “Educational Psychology and Guidance and Counseling”, “Foundations of Education”, Teacher Education and Environmental Education (in Assamese) published by Mani Manik Prakash, Panbazar Guwahati in 2013, 2019 and 2020 respectively. In addition to these she has published a number of articles in regional, national and international Journals, edited volumes, seminar proceedings etc. She is a coordinator of two MOOC course namely "Guidance and Counselling in Schools" and "Philosophical Foundation of Education" running successfully in SWAYAM Platform since 2022 and 2025 respectively. Moreover, she also developed module for MOOC Course on School  Management and Leadership which is successfully running from 2023 and Early Childhood Care and Education 2025. Moreover, she also contributed on two Insttituional MOOC Course offered by Discipline of Education, KKHSOU which will be offered by July 2025.
