Dr. Arunima Borah is an Assistant Professor of Education at Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), Guwahati, Assam, serving in this role since December 30, 2019. Prior to joining KKHSOU, she worked as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) at Cotton University from October 24, 2014 to December 21, 2019. She was awarded a Ph.D. in Education by Gauhati University in 2019 for her thesis titled “Technical Education in the Kamrup District of Assam with Special Reference to Higher Education – An Evaluative Study.”

Dr. Borah has made significant contributions to academic literature, authoring four textbooks for undergraduate courses under Gauhati University and Cotton University. These include Educational Technology and Teaching Methods (available in both English and Assamese), Value Education, and Mental Health and Hygiene. These books were published by J.D. Publication, Bhangarh; Ashok Publications, Panbazar; and DVS Publications, Panbazar, Guwahati between 2015 and 2022.

In addition to her books, Dr. Borah has published numerous scholarly articles in regional, national, and international journals. Her work has also appeared in edited volumes and seminar proceedings, reflecting her active engagement in the academic community and contribution to the field of education.
