Dr. Chayanika Roy is an Assistant Professor at the Padmanath Gohain Baruah School of Humanities, Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University. She holds an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. from Gauhati University. Her academic interests include contemporary fiction, apartheid literature, Indian English literature, and ecocritical studies.

                        With sixteen years of teaching experience, Dr. Roy has been closely associated with the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system for over a decade, contributing significantly to curriculum design and learner support initiatives within the ODL framework. 

       Dr. Roy has also served as the coordinator of the MOOC on 'Creative Writing', offered through SWAYAM, an initiative of the Government of India aimed at providing quality education at scale.

      Dr. Roy has published scholarly articles in various reputed national and international journals and continues to actively engage in academic research and development in the field of English literature and pedagogy.
