Dr. Gobinda Deka CV
I, Gobinda Deka, M.Com., Ph.D., PGDHE is currently working as an Associate Professor in Commerce at Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University, Assam. I have 30 years of teaching experience in UG and PG levels. I worked in CKB Commerce College, Jorhat as a faculty before joining the current position. I teach basically Finance related subjects along with other few subjects of commerce and my research interest is Banking, especially Green Banking, and any other recent areas relating to Finance. I have in my credit a total of 12 (twelve) books of which 5 (five) books published by Kalyani Publishers, 6 (six) books published by Ashok Publications, and 1 (one) edited book published by CKB Commerce College, Jorhat and 27 research papers/articles published in reputed journals/seminar volumes/ magazines with ISSN/ISBN. I have completed a research project funded by ICSSR. Moreover, I am also holding Lieutenant Rank as I have completed 90 days Pre Commission (PRCN) at Kamptee, Maharashtra. I worked as Caretaker Officer (CTO) for 7 years and as an Associate NCC Officer (ANO) for 12 years under 9 Assam BN.
