Dr. Ridip Dev Choudhury is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Computer Science at Krishna KantaHandiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), Guwahati, Assam, a position he has held since November 2020. He is the Director (i/c) of the Hiranya Chandra Bhuyan School of Science and Technology and former Director (i/c) of the Guru Prasad Das School of Interdisciplinary and Vocational Studies at KKHSOU. Additionally, he has been entrusted with the role of Deputy Director at the Centre for Online Education. Dr. Dev Choudhury is an active member of the Academic Council, Research Council, and several other key committees at the university.
Before joining KKHSOU, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Gauhati University Centre for Distance and Online Education (GUCDOE), Gauhati University, Assam, and as a guest faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at Gauhati University.
Dr. Dev Choudhury holds both a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Gauhati University. With 19 years of professional and teaching experience, his research interests include eLearning, Expert Systems, and Image Processing. He has published extensively in reputed international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, as well as in numerous national and international conference proceedings.
