One can request for re-scrutiny/ photocopy/ re-evaluation of their maximum 3 numbers of answer scripts within one month each from the declaration of the result with a payment of fees of Rs. 100/-, Rs. 200/- and Rs. 300/- respectively. Time required for the declaration of each result is maximum 30 days. That is, 30 days for result of re-scrutiny, after getting the result of re-scrutiny he/she can apply for photocopy, then again maximum 30 days for photocopy and so on. To be eligible to appear for the Term End Examination in any course, the students are required to fulfill the following conditions:

1.  Their registration for the programme should be valid .
2.  They should have opted and pursued the prescribed course.
3.  They should have submitted the required number of assignments within due dates before taking the examination.
4.  They should have submitted the examination form in time along with the requisite fees, if appearing for Back papers.

The University conducts term end examinations twice a year, once for Odd semesters and once for Even semesters. Examination date schedule indicating the date and time of examination for each course is sent to all the study centres in advance.The same is also notified in the University website.

First you see for which purpose your result is withheld. Generally results are being withheld due to various reasons like- sitting in an examination without admit cards/ not paying accurate amount in the form fill up/ not paying on time/ no information of major or pass course/ no marks in home assignment etc. If you have submitted the assignments on time and your result gets withheld due to home assignment marks, then you have to ask the coordinator of your study centre to resubmit the marks to the Controller of Examinations.

One can change his/ her examination centre only after approval from the Controller of Examinations. For this, the candidate have to send an application to the Controller of Examination through proper channel elaborating his/her problems in details at least one month before the commencement of the said examination. The Controller of Examinations will see the documents and other factors and accordingly allow the candidate to sit in the examination centre as fixed by him only after a payment of Rs 300/- as new examination centre fees. 
 

Betterment option is applicable to Master Degree Learners only.For clearing a particular course of a particular programme upto the final degree a minimum of 35%  marks,which comprise the marks obtained from term end examination and home assignments as indicated are required.Only One Chance will be given to candidates for betterment in the next session. For availing repeat performance or Betterment a candidate has to apply using specific betterment form which is available in the website within one month from the date of declaration of result. Betterment chance can be availed of only for two papers in one Semester.

Apply to the Controller of Examinations through the Study Centre with requisite documents within 60 days from the date of declaration of the result. Contact the Coordinator of the Study Centre for information regarding requisite documents to be submitted.<br>If request is made after 60 days but before 90 days, you have to pay a fine of Rs 1000/- .If request is made after 90 days no request will be entertained and the result will be updated as failed.

All the Odd semesters (1st, 3rd and 5th) will be held in the month of January, February and March. While all the Even semesters (2nd, 4th and 6th) will be held in the month of June, July and August.
