Course Details

Objectives : To gain basic idea on Ancient History and Culture of India in the age of Vedic era.  To discuss the History of Classical Sanskrit period from the Ramayana age to the modern age.  To study the various branches and characteristics of Indian philosophy, Scientific Literature and other important branches of Indian Knowledge System. Outcomes:  The learner will be able to explore the ancient history of Indian civilization and culture.  As Indian Government has made it a priority to revisit Indian knowledge systems, therefore, experts in these fields will be in great demand in the coming decades.  In recent years, ancient knowledge systems such as Veda, Ayurveda and Yoga have become the hope for a new world. Today, there is a growing curiosity among the global community to know more about these systems. As a result, learners will gain the scope of research work in future.
