Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) laid the foundation stone for its permanent Jorhat Regional Centre at Purani Gayan Gaon. The new campus will strengthen academic and administrative services, improve learner support, and expand the university's outreach across Upper Assam.
