The Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) organized a special program at the Zubeen Garg Auditorium to accelerate its admission drive, distribute original certificates, and launch an alumni registration campaign. Graced by Vice-Chancellor Professor Rajendra Prasad Das, Registrar Professor Pranab Saikia, and other university dignitaries, the event saw the formal distribution of original degrees, diplomas, and certificates to over 1,800 successful students who could not collect them earlier due to various reasons. Highlighting the university's mission of providing "education without barriers," the speakers emphasized the crucial role of alumni as goodwill ambassadors in fostering social development and bridging the gap between higher education and the community.
