On March 5, 2024, Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) held a significant Alumni Meet. The event, graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries including the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rajendra Prasad Das, was marked by the inauguration of the University Anthem and a series of insightful speeches. The Vice Chancellor emphasized the need for a strong Alumni Association and announced plans to establish four new Regional Centres. The second part of the meet saw the election of new office bearers for the Alumni Association, with Er. Sashadhar Deka taking over as the President. The newly elected President laid out an ambitious plan for the Association, highlighting the crucial role alumni can play in the growth and development of the institution. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sukmaya Lama, marking the end of a successful and promising meet.
