Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) City Campus was bustling with academic enthusiasm as it hosted a crucial Faculty Development Program (FDP) focused on "Achieving Excellence in Developing Online Programs & MOOCs: Strategies and Best Practices". This event, aimed at refining and enhancing the skills of educators in online education, saw the participation of faculty members keen on adapting to the evolving educational landscape.

The program was organized by the Centre for Online Education at KKHSOU, in close collaboration with the University's MOOCs Promotion Committee. The highlight of the event was the insightful session led by Prof. Uma Kanjilal, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Head of the Department of Library and Information Science at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Prof. Kanjilal, a distinguished scholar and expert in online education, shared her extensive knowledge and experiences, outlining practical strategies and best practices that are pivotal in shaping future-ready online educational programs.
